Enjoy activities throughout Custer State Park! You are welcome to do any activities in the park, regardless of where you stay! We offer activities throughout the park and our front desk staff would be happy to assist you with more information or with making reservations. We do recommend making advance reservations for activities and dining throughout the park.
Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour
Driver/guides offer historical and educational information about the Park and wildlife on the 1 1/2 to 2 hour scenic tour of the back country. Departing 8:00 am - 6:00 pm daily. Reservations recommended.
Minimum fee for ride $115.00

Buffalo Safari Jeep Tour & Chuck Wagon Cookout Adventure
Open air Jeep Tour and Chuck Wagon Cookout Adventure takes you to where herds of buffalo, elk and deer thrive. Authentic Chuck Wagon Cookout, at a secluded canyon featuring steaks, burgers, plenty of cowboy beans, cornbread, potato salad, watermelon, cole slaw, cookies and coffee or lemonade, with Western Entertainment.

Buffalo Safari Jeep Tours for Breakfast or Lunch in Parker Canyon
Breakfast jeep tours available Mondays & Thursdays only. Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Lunch jeep tours available Wednesdays only. Lunch is served from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required for both breakfast & lunch jeep tours, please call one day ahead before 5:00 p.m. Late reservations and walk-ons will be accommodated on a "space available" basis.
Breakfast
Menu includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee and juice.
Tour departs at 8:00 a.m. and returns at 10:00 a.m.

Lunch
Menu includes pulled buffalo, macaroni salad, coleslaw, watermelon, cookie, lemonade Coke, Diet Coke, or water.

Guided Fly Fishing Trips
Guided fly fishing trips within Custer State Park.
One or two people. Full Day: $375.00 plus tax. Third person additional at $175.00 plus tax.
Half Day: $250.00 plus tax. Third person additional $120.00 plus tax.
Rods, reels, waders, lunch and beverage provided. Customers must have license, line leader, tippet and flies which are available for purchase at the Resort. Pickup and return to the State Game Lodge. Minimum of 24 hours advance notice.
Fly Fishing School
Advanced reservations required. Wednesday and Saturdays; 9:00 am until 1:00 pm.
School covers equipment, knots, casting and reading water. Cost: $135.00 for 1 to 3 students plus tax. Additional students $45.00 plus tax. Maximum of 6 students per class.Must purchase a line leader. Rod and reel provided. Groups of 6 or more any day with 24 hours notice. Group rate are available on groups of 10 or more. Meets at the front lawn of the State Game Lodge
