15th Annual Buffalo Round Up & Art Festival
September 27, 28 & 29, 2008

Festival Hours:
Saturday, Sept 27 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Sunday, Sept 28 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Monday, Sept 29 - 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

The Art Festival will be held Saturday and Sunday in Custer State Park on the grounds of the State Game Lodge. On Monday, September 29th, there will be a limited number of booth spaces available at the buffalo corral areas (approximately 15 miles south of the State Game Lodge) for those artists and vendors who chose to display and sell their goods during the world renowned Buffalo Roundup. Many events will surround this years festival, including:

Pancake Feed Saturday & Sunday Mornings
Continuous Entertainment Under The Big Top
Annual Buffalo Chili Cook-off
Living History Recreations
Authentic Chuck Wagon Cookout

Many, many more events and activities are being planned. As always, the festival and roundup will be well advertised; so don’t miss out on one of South Dakota’s Great Events!

You are invited to participate in this years Arts Festival by setting up a booth to sell your artwork or craft. The cost of booth space is $250 for three days (includes space at the buffalo corral area on Monday), or $150 for just Saturday and Sunday. You will need to provide your own table, tent, chair or anything else necessary to operate your booth. Electricity will not be available.

One exempt pass will be sent to you to provide free entrance into the park for the weekend. Lodging & camping is available in the Park. For lodging reservations call 1-888-875-0001. For camping reservations call 1-800-710-2267.

Custer State Park Resort is an authorized concessionaire of South Dakota’s Department of Game, Fish & Parks, serving the public in Custer State Park. All parties interested in obtaining space and permit to display and sell merchandise or promote services during the Buffalo Round-up Arts festival should contact Wade Lampert at Custer State Park Resort.
