Enjoy activities throughout Custer State Park! You are welcome to do any activities in the park, regardless of where you stay! We offer activities throughout the park and our front desk staff would be happy to assist you with more information or with making reservations. We do recommend making advance reservations for activities and dining throughout the park.
Hayride / Chuck Wagon Cookout
This old-fashioned hayride on a vehicle-drawn wagon takes you on back roads to a mountain meadow canyon for a Chuck Wagon feast. Sing-along country/folk music entertains throughout the evening.
Reservations are required by 2:00 p.m.
Late reservations and walk-ons will be accommodated on a "Space Available" basis until 5:00 p.m.
Arrival at Blue Bell Lodge by 5:00 p.m. is required with departure at 5:30 p.m. Arrive back at the Lodge at around 8:00 p.m.
Menu choice of 8 oz. choice sirloin steak or 1/3 lb. hamburger entree with all the fixin’s including Cowboy beans, cornbread and honey, potato salad, cole slaw, watermelon, cookies, chuck wagon coffee and lemonade.
A Souvenir Cowboy Hat and Bandanna for each paying guest.

Children (Under 12 years.): $30.00
Children 3 years and under are free provided they sit on a parent's lap on the ride and eat from a parent's plate.
Group rates for 10 persons or more $35.00 per person.

Available Wednesdays only. Lunch is served from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required, please call one day ahead before 5:00 p.m. Late reservations and walk-ons will be accommodated on a "space available" basis.
Menu includes pulled buffalo, macaroni salad, coleslaw, watermelon, cookie, lemonade Coke, Diet Coke, or water.
Chuck Wagon departs at 12:00 p.m. and returns at 2:00 p.m.

Blue Bell Stables and Trail Rides
Saddle up and hit the trail for horseback adventure.
1 HOUR TRAIL RIDE:

2 HOUR TRAIL RIDE:

Note: Children must ride alone and meet minimum safety requirements. Children under the age of 4 cannot ride. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to a scheduled Trail Ride to complete the required insurance related paperwork.

Breakfast trail rides available Mondays & Thursdays only. Breakfast is served from 9:00 to 9:30 a.m. Lunch available Wednesdays only. Lunch is served from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Reservations are required for both breakfast & lunch trail rides, please call one day ahead before 5:00 p.m. Late reservations and walk-ons will be accommodated on a "space available" basis.
